Sexual assault suspect Tyler Reece Livingston of Emeryville, California, a 25-year-old swim teacher, pleaded not guilty to multiple charges of sexual assault against young boys during his arraignment in Oakland. Livingston’s attorney, Valery Nechay, argued for bail, citing his community ties and lack of a criminal record, but the prosecution emphasized the severity of the repeated offenses. Superior Court Judge Elena Condes denied bail but scheduled a hearing to reconsider in four days. Authorities are continuing to investigate and are seeking additional information from potential victims or witnesses.
